THE ABSOLUTELY TRUE DIARY OF A PART-TIME INDIAN written and read by Sherman Alexie



In this 2007 National Book Award Young Adult winner, humor is a great strength in Alexie's writing and reading. His hero, Junior Spirit, survives brain surgery, but he wonders if he will survive growing up on the Spokane Indian reservation. A great Young Adult story.
