WHAT WAS SHE THINKING? by Zoë Heller, read by Nadia May

This sad, riveting story was recently in film as NOTES ON A SCANDAL. We follow Barbara Covett, lonely sixtyish London schoolteacher, as she becomes enthralled with Sheba, a younger fellow teacher. Nadia May is brilliant with Barbara--self-deluding, jealous, controlling, snide, though always civil, and she gives voice to subordinate characters equally well.
